SPL Sur­round Con­troller Setup

5.1 Setup Guide (From Mac):

1. Firstly, ensure that Input B is selected by check­ing that the A/​B but­ton is pressed in and the Surround/​Stereo but­ton is not pressed in.

2. Sec­ondly, ensure that non of the Mono, Pad or Dim or Mute buttons are pressed in.

3. Next, check that all of the output but­tons (Labelled: L, C, R, LS, RS, LFE) are pressed in.

4. Finally, slowly turn the vol­ume dial until a rea­son­able vol­ume is reached.

Note: If you are using the Mac for stereo mix­ing this tuto­r­ial is still valid.

Note: If you aren't get­ting any sound through lower the vol­ume to 15% or lower whilst trou­bleshoot­ing to avoid loud pops or sud­den sound.

Stereo Setup (From Lap­top or Other Exter­nal Device):

1. Firstly, ensure that Input D is selected by check­ing that the C/​D but­ton is pressed in and the Surround/​Stereo but­ton is pressed in.

2. Sec­ondly, ensure that non of the Mono, Pad or Dim or Mute buttons are pressed in.

3. Next, check that all of the output but­tons (Labelled: L, C, R, LS, RS, LFE) are pressed in.

4. Finally, slowly turn the vol­ume dial until a rea­son­able vol­ume is reached.
